Written by Karen Lafferty. Recorded at North Wind Productions in Moose Lake, MN.
Accompaniment by Linda McKechnie & The Don Marsh Chorus and Orchestra.
My sister requested that I sing this song at her wedding. After realizing that singing
with the church pianist would make the song exactly 1 ½ minutes long, I found the beautiful
piano and orchestra instrumental track that included Pachelbel’s Cannon. Since the wedding performance, I have continued to perform the song due to the purity of the melody that
felt as graceful and angelic as it sounded.
Feels Like Home (October, 2008)
Written by Diane Warren. Recorded in the style of Emmylou Harris
at North Wind Productions in Moose Lake, MN. Accompaniment by Sound Choice.
A friend of mine heard this song and wanted to learn to sing it. Through helping her practice,
I fell in love with the easy flowing melody and the idea that home is where the heart is.
Twisted (April, 2007)
Music by Wardell Gray, Lyrics by Lambert, Hendrix & Ross. Recorded in the style
of Joni Mitchell at Oak Grove Recording Studio in Boston, MA. Accompaniment by Bill Taylor.
I first heard this song performed by a class-mate in a vocal performance class at Berklee.
I love the sassy attitude and the fun jazzy style. It was so much fun to sing, I needed
to share it with anyone who wished to listen!
Sebben Crudele (August, 2001)
Written by Antonio Caldara. Recorded live in Moose Lake, MN.
Piano accompaniment by Char Daniels. Strings added by Bill Taylor.
This song was one of the first in my repertoire. My voice teacher suggested it as a contest
piece in high school, and I continue to enjoy performing it. The Italian language is a lot
of fun to sing in, and leaves the imagination open to express a lot of emotion.
